Acer's $199 Chromebook - How Low Can You Go?

Now though, with Chromebooks becoming far more accessible to the consumer (with two products under £229/$250), will we finally see the Chrome OS catch on? With the launch of this new Acer Chromebook for just $199, how can it not?

My thoughts?

It's a waste of time unless you ONLY plan on using it for browsing. And even then, a laptop for just browsing? Meh. I'd buy an Android tablet before a Chromebook for 200.

You could think of it as a tablet with an inbuilt keyboard. For £229 you won't find a tablet like this.

Its all around whether you like Chrome OS
