Nexus 10 - How Does It Compare?

TechtheWeek

The Nexus 10. An Android 4.2, 300 ppi, £319 digital delight. A cocktail of all things that make a tablet great. But, how does it fare against the competition? (Android, Android 4.2, Gadgets)

I think that we need new devices like this one to give Apple some competition

Well it's not like this is the first tablet to release since the iPad. iPad already has competition on the Android side. Some stronger marketing could put something like Nexus 10 over the top, though, I guess.

A great point. The prime transformer from Asus was easily just as good as the iPad but without marketing it had no chance on the open market

I agree with you SN123. Other companies can't let Apple carry on the lead. Someone else needs to take the baton

Hardware wise, the Nexus 10 clearly is ahead of the game. Dual core A15 and that resolution alone make it remarkable. Android 4.2 is also beyond any other mobile OS. Its the apps that come into question, and as long as these trendy developers keep playing favorites with Apple, its tough for anyone else to truly be competitive. It really comes down to how you make use of your smartphone or tablet though, and I can never sign my life away to that closed iOS platform. I'll be getting the Nexus 4 and 10 as soon as possible.
