Facebook tests Timeline layout with single column of posts

Inside Facebook - Facebook is testing a new format for user Timelines, which puts all posts in a single column on the left and any activity modules in a narrower column on the right (Facebook, Services, Web)

What a waste of real estate, but I guess it does follow in the traditional blog style which people are more attuned to.

looks like the old Facebook. the dual sided wall posts made it interesting and also gave it a fresh look
