The firm’s research arm StatCounter Global Stats finds that Windows XP, the operating system launched over 10 years ago in October 2001, still has almost 30% usage share worldwide."
The cloud storage platform will drop support for older versions of Windows in early 2022.
Microsoft responded with Windows 8 and its Surface RT tablet.
Steam is shifting gears and will drop support for Windows XP and Windows Vista starting January 1st.
