SemiAccurate: Word has reached SemiAccurate that Asus just made a bid for ASRock's mobo divison. The motherbord leader is about to buy the fast growing upstart out before they get too large.
(ASRock, ASUS, Motherboard, PC, PC hardware)
Asrock is destroying them in the bang/buck category. Plus they are rock solid. Just let the company be so people can keep their jobs and consumers can have choices.
My Asus Striker Extreme motherboard was giving me issues over the past week (didn't let me format HDDs or install Windows), so I got an Asrock board which is working well now. Only thing that's weird is that I can only put one stick of RAM in a specific slot, otherwise it won't post. It's really annoying, I'd like to be able to use both slots and get my 4GB back.
I got an asrock extreme4 gen3(my first pc build EVER) and its doing everything as expected, the only problem I think I'm going to have is ordering a different BIOS chip so that I can use ivy bridge and the gtx 600 series cards flawlessly... Well in a sense, of having no problems.... Hopefully
i bought Asrock Z77 Extreme4 few days ago, i still didn't build this computer yet, but i have high expectations of it. this company has been making awesome motherboards with affordable prices, i hope this doesn't change.
