Can they just bring it to NYC and all the 5 boroughs that's all I care about...
I want them to put all these other cable companies out of business, especially Time Warner Cable for charging crazy high prices for slow as hell internet..
Sadly, given that I'm way far out of the city, I suspect this will never make it's way to me but MAYBE there's hope that they launch a legitimate wireless service in Canada and I won't be paying $100+ for heavily capped internet.
My only fear is that google will suck every piece of personal information out of us like a giant vacuum.... they are too addicted to info to pass up a chance at system level data collection...
My advice to you would be to stop using the Internet. I don't think there is any major site that doesn't implement some sort of analytics software that generates profiles about their visitors. Whether it be Quantcast, Google, Chartbeat, Compete, etc. I guess in turn it does help them to deliver better adverts which in terms helps pay the bills to host sites, so we can read news and use social networks for free (among many other examples).
Yes. I would not say/do anything on the internet I would not be willing to yell out the window. If they want to log how much xbox I play then go ahead.
But still, the level at which Google gathers information is absolutely beyond creepy. Trusting them at such a level as to be a provider....I'm not sure I could personally do something like that.
But I'm not really worried right now...I'd bet I'll be in dentures before up to date fiber cables get installed in large parts of the states, let alone in my area.
(Didn't hit reply? But this is directed to #8)They don't tie anything they get to any person. Oh no, I searched how to make a cake, they know EVERYTHING about me!!!
And besides, all websites track where you came from, what links you click on their site, how long you're there, etc. Get over yourself.

I wish the made a $35/month plan for 500mbps that would be the sweet spot and would kill everyone else.
