Gadgehit writes: "The BBC has announced that it will be launching a BBC iPlayer iPad app for the global market, but with a few differences when compared to the UK’s iPlayer service. Users of the new app will be required to pay a monthly subscription of €6.99 a month, or take the option of a discounted annual subscription for €49.99."
Guardian: The BBC's international iPlayer iPad app will cost less than $10 (£6.13) a month when it launches later this year, according to director general Mark Thompson.
