I may be in the minority, but I'm loving it so far. The desktop ui could use some work, but the start screen and the performance are really great. Whenever I'm on the go or on the road, I never have to open the browser again to check up on the little things when I could just look at the start screen and watch the live tiles give me the quick info I need. I don't know about anyone else, but I find windows 8 more efficient to use than any other windows os so far.
