Mad Catz Announces TRITTON PRO+ True 5.1 Surround Sound Headset

ooh, might have to get this once it drops, i stepped on my ax pros a while back and now the left ear cup is held in place with hot glue and duct tape.

I don't know about everyone else but I'd rather not have a unreplaceable wire dangling by my left or right ear. If the cable can be replaced then that's fine if not...

I don't think it can be replaced actually, at least going on the other headsets although there are two sections to the wire usually, joined by the remote. So if the bottom section gets damaged it can be replaced. Cable is also braided and I haven't had any problems with previous headsets.

All I can say true 5.1 headsets >>>> virtual surround sound crap.

Got a Coolermaster Sirus S with a sharkoon decoder box hooked up on my ps3.

Whole new experience. You hear the sound much more separated from each direction.
