Google Cutting 4,000 Jobs at Motorola Mobility

Gadgehit.com writes: "Google is cutting 4,000 jobs at Motorola Mobility in an attempt to return the company to profitability. Motorola currently employs around 20,000 people in its factories and offices worldwide, so 4,000 represents around 20% of the workforce. The cost of severance packages will be around $275 million as the company is restructured to make it a little leaner." (Google, Motorola, Phones, Web)
