Google should pay $750 a book, say authors in copyright case

Yahoo : Authors suing Google over the digitization of their books have asked a New York court to order the Internet company to pay $750 for each book it copied, distributed or displayed. (Google, Industry, Microsoft, Services, Web)

How is that fair? Google and these authors need to come to an agreement.

Of course money will come into play and I am sure if both parties can be flexible, then a sound agreement can be met.

Lol. They will get a nice reduction in the settlement. Funny how a multi billion dollar company who engages in piracy/distribution but a normal individual that downloads some .99 cent songs gets offered a settlement for 4-5k per title. Seems fair
