Pocket lint: The just-launched Outlook.com offers plenty in the way of web-based email action. It goes head to head with the current favourite, Gmail, which with things like Google Docs, Apps and Drive integration, is fast becoming a one-stop shop for managing your working life on the web.
But you can still go back to the old layout if you prefer.
Overall, this looks like a decent UI update for people that use multiple Google services.
Spam runs rampant on Gmail, but you have options.
