Woman Gets Naked In Public To Protest Book Pirates (NSFW)

torrentfreak : In probably the most outrageous protest yet against piracy, an author has ripped off her clothes in front of a government palace. Brazilian writer Vanessa de Oliveira shocked the citizens of Lima, Peru, with nearly everything she has. “I’m doing this for my book so it is not pirated anymore anywhere in the world,” the redhead said, adding that her latest publication is based on her experiences bedding nearly 5,000 me

Nice publicity Stunt, all I can say on this

nukeitall1596d ago

Normally, I don't like protesters. Especially being from Berkeley, CA (known for protest since the 60s and the hippie movement).

However, I wish more attractive women would protest in such a manner. I would welcome them with open arms! XD

SilentNegotiator1595d ago

Why would I want to read

when I now have fapping material?

StraightPath1596d ago (Edited 1596d ago )

What a whore. No shame in front of oogling men. So yeah then they will complain why women are, also sex objects.

cleft51596d ago

You are a close minded idiot.

Kurylo3d1596d ago

actually... her books are all about her being a sex object... and being working a girl..

So... yea... hes right. She is a whore. But yea ... hes close minded too lol

dilawer1596d ago

Women around the world should follow-in her footsteps ;)

AgentWhite1596d ago

Rofl .. it could be a publicity stunt as Settler said ..but it isn't good for society as a whole but for Mens it could be fun ...

blumatt1596d ago

Well that wins gayest comment of this post. Hahaha

Very nice woman very nice indeed.

mushroomwig1596d ago

I would feel very ashamed if more women followed in her footstep, considering how she's admitted to bedding over 5000 men.
So, no..how about you don't tell women what they should or should not be doing.

dilawer1595d ago

hey..hey calm down I was just kidding. I didn't know She has bedded over 5000 men. Is that even possible? Wouldn't that be a Guinness world record.

JoySticksFTW1595d ago

"hey..hey calm down I was just kidding"

LMAO!!

It just struck me as funny. Good stuff :)

Speed-Racer1595d ago

@JoySticksFTW - Calm the f*** down, he got this. lolol

2pacalypsenow1596d ago

lol like thats gonna stop piracy lmao

MWH1596d ago

my thought exactly. in the contrary, it may encourage it even more now that it comes with a bonus lol.

pompombrum1596d ago

Lol ironic really, I suddenly have an interest to pirate her books. Seriously though, if you don't want books pirated, don't release an electronic version. Unless your book is famous, chances are nobody is going to take the time to scan it and if it is famous, who cares you're probably rich.

Baka-akaB1596d ago (Edited 1596d ago )

Not at all . Many obscure books got scanned actually . Book piracy began for starters because of the publishers' inability to provide their content in a fair fashion .

Hell look at comics , DC and Marvel only truly started digital versions in 2012 . Before it was lousy initiative at lousy prices and lousy proprietary formats .

As a result they trained for a decade people to just read stuff for free , when they were previously willing and asking for digital versions .

Of course now they got a fair way to access stuff , and a chance to do it legally . But it wont be easy to call back disgruntled folks used to just pirating it

mt1596d ago

that is not how you protest for pirated book, that is how you whore around to get the media attention and hence it is for the benefit of the book... she succeeded.
