Orangutans use iPads to choose their next meal

Orangutans at the Jungle Island animal park in Miami have learned how to use the iPad to interact with zoo keepers and choose their food. The iPad has enabled better communication between the animals and humans, using an app initially developed for children with autism. Orangutans use the app mainly to choose what snacks they want, allowing the zoo keepers to customize the food offerings for each animal.

The story is too old to be commented.
