BBC Website Crash Leaves Millions Without iPlayer

Gadgehit.com writes: "Following O2′s mobile network crash yesterday, the BBC website was also down leaving millions of viewers without on-demand services at prime-time viewing. Users who tried to access the website at all at around 8PM BST, were welcomed by an ‘Error 500 – Internal Error’ page. The website was partially restored after about an hour, but still suffered problems for a while after."
