Liliputing - Chrome OS is an operating system designed to run one app: the web browser. As such, there is virtually nothing you can do on a laptop running Chrome OS that you can’t also do on a Windows, Mac, or Linux laptop with the Google Chrome web browser installed.
Pocket-Lint: What do you do on your laptop? Surf the web, write documents, watch a bit of video? Yeah, we thought so. Despite having machines that are capable of incredible things, laptops that have enough computing power to achieve almost anything you can imagine. But these computers are wasted on most people, because most people write things and surf the web.
I'm undecided. Part of me wants a Chromebook because it's something different, but part of me doesn't because it might be useless.
Thoughts?
