She's clearly with him for his evil genius and ruggedly handsome looks.

Come on...You can't detect sarcasm? Obviously she's a "working girl"

Speed-Racer4306d ago

It's n4g, people don't know what sarcasm is.

thebudgetgamer4306d ago

I don't understand why people like this guy, he makes money off of other peoples hard work. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Speed-Racer4306d ago

The whole system is flawed though. Let's say you want to watch a movie. The risk is that it could either be good or total crap. The thing is you can't really tell and then end up forking over cash, to find out that it could have been a load of crap. There are no refunds. The entire system needs to be re-designed from the ground up to allow for good content to rise to the top and bad stuff pushed out.

The whole system is flawed though. Let's say you want to __set up a heavy manufacturing concern in mainland China.__ The risk is that it could either be good or total crap. The thing is you can't really tell and then end up forking over cash, to find out that it could have been a load of crap.

How in hell did you get so many bubbles? Do they give them away with breakfast at waffle house?

It's theft of service and he makes millions off it. And it seems alot of those movies ain't crap since so many keep going to download and stream them.

Speed-Racer4306d ago

@Flavor - I don't know if you realized it but piracy also has acted as a spur to inadvertently boost the legal side of the industry. Let's say I wanted to see a movie that I wasn't sure about, I might have checked it out via a torrent, and if it was good, I'd go see it in at a cinema or buy the DVD. The same goes for software. It's hard to shell out a lot of money to realize you didn't get what you wanted. A lot of online software I use, I've pirated to test privately before making an official purchase. Until there is a proper way to preview content, how will I know if I'm getting my money's worth. If you can't see it that far, then that's your problem. Even with piracy reigning its head, the movie and music industry is still making billions on legal sales.

thebudgetgamer4306d ago

I would be more inclined to agree with that back in the day, but now we have so much information at the tip of our fingers. Heck we carry computers in our pockets, and we have Rotten Tomato, everyone and their mother has a blog. At this point if you buy without research it's your fault.

Speed-Racer4306d ago

But someone has to be the guinea pig to write those blogs or give rotten tomato reviews? Am I right? Plus, everyone's opinion on music or movies is dependent on personal tastes, so what I like may not be what you like.

sjaakiejj4306d ago

This would be a good idea, if it wasn't for the fact that whether a movie is good or bad is often very subjective.

How do you let good content rise to the top, and bad content to the bottom, if nobody agrees on what's good and bad content?

Appeals Court Says It's Perfectly Fine For The DOJ To Steal Kim Dotcom's Money Before Any Trial

Last year, there was a series of very troubling rulings by a district court in a case related to the criminal prosecution of Kim Dotcom. This wasn't, technically, part of the actual criminal case against him, but rather a separate effort by the government to steal his money. We've been covering the ridiculous process of civil asset forfeiture for a while, and it's really problematic in general. In Dotcom's case, it's something of a farce.
