Nexus 7 ship worries and gaming dilemma

Storage is so cheap, why are all the tablets so anemic when it comes to their capacity? Even give us the ability to add a Micro SD card if you don't wwant to built the unit with a higher capacity. That's my biggest bitch about tablets. Lack or storage.
