Cnet :The company has just unveiled its latest XQD memory cards which promise high transfer speeds of up to 168MB/s (the previous H-series had transfer speeds of 125MB/s). This new S-series XQD cards are targeted at users who shoot RAW format images in burst-mode and high-resolution videos. According to Sony's press release, you'll need a Thunderbolt reader in order to achieve the high transfer rates stated in its official specifications.
