Intel Fighting $1.3 Billion EU Antitrust Fine

Gadgehit.com writes: "Intel has decided to fight an antitrust fine that the chip-maker incurred from the European Competition Commission. The manufacturer was fined 1.06 billion Euros (around $1.3 billion) three years ago because the European Commission found that the company was hindering its rival, AMD, after an eight-year investigation. The fine is the largest ever to be imposed on a company." (AMD, Industry, Intel, PC hardware)
