Techspot: Acer has announced two new Windows 8 Ultrabooks at Computex this week. Known as the Aspire S7 series, both systems feature all-aluminum bodies with full HD touch screens in what the company calls the “thinnest and smallest” HD Ultrabook, although detailed measurements outside of it being 12mm thick (13-inch model) were not on hand at the show.
The cloud storage platform will drop support for older versions of Windows in early 2022.
Microsoft responded with Windows 8 and its Surface RT tablet.
