Quad-Channel DDR3 Memory Round-Up

HotHardware - To coincide with the release of Intel's current flagship Sandy Bridge-E processor and companion X79 chipset, a number of Intel’s memory partners released new quad-channel memory kits optimized for the platform. Previous Intel platforms were designed to offer optimal performance with two or three-channel memory configurations; Sandy Bridge-E and the X79 Express, however, perform best with a quad-channel setup.

ThePCEnthusiast - KLEVV Urbane DDR3 Memory Review

ThePCEnthusiast.com: "Today we are going to look at another DDR3 memory from the new comer Essencore – the Klevv Genuine DDR3 memory. Previously, we reviewed the Klevv Genuine which is their flagship DDR3 memory. If you haven’t seen or read my previous review, be sure to read that as well. Just a little intro regarding the company; Essencore is basically a new company or challenger in the memory and storage industry. They recently launched their brand “KLEVV” together with their DDR3 and DDR4 memory early this year. Now, the Klevv Urbane DDR3 Unbuffered DIMM memory, according to the company, is “Born to be Sophisticated” and is “Fast by Nature”. Well, aesthetically speaking, it does look elegant and sophisticated. The Urbane is not about jagged edge and serrated aluminium fins, like most DDR3 memory we see in the market today. The Klevv Urbane is all about sleek lines and smooth curves, and in my opinion it offers a certain uniqueness that I find very pleasing. The specific unit sample I got is the Klevv Urbane DDR3 8GB (2x4GB) Memory Kit at 2400MHz CL11-13-13-31 @ 1.65V (KM3U4GX2Y-2400) IMT451U6MFR8Y-AB1. Now that’s very specific!"

ThePCEnthusiast - KLEVV Genuine DDR3 Memory Review

ThePCEnthusiast: "Today we are going to look on a new product from a new company who recently entered the memory/storage market. The company I am talking about is no other than Essencore and their house brand called KLEVV. As the title of this article reads, we are going to take a look and review Essensore’s KLEVV Genuine DDR3 memory kit, specifically the 8GB dual channel kit clocked at 2666MHz. The Klevv Genuine is just one of the three DDR3 memory lineups that the company released altogether. The other two are the Urbane and Neo, which we will be reviewing as well. The Genuine features a unique and elegant-looking heat sink design with sophisticated LED light. You won’t be seeing any serrated heatsinks or aggressive looking heatsink like we usually see on memory modules nowadays. You might probably think that the DDR3 memory market is already congested and there are already lots of options to choose from. But it’s always good to see new competition, specially if the new competition promises something that would stand out from the rest."
