Why My Computer Would Benefit from an SSD Upgrade
267d ago ... Currently my computer has 4gigs RAM, 5TB hard disk space, 1090T OC'd to 3.9GHz. The future will bring 16gigs of RAM, along with a Bulldozer CPU, two 6990s and 15 monitors. I could use a SSD because this is still too slow for the full unadulterated power I require in my gaming, scientific calculations and thin client I plan on setting up throughout the house. A thin client is a single comp...Why My Computer Would Benefit From an SSD Upgrade
273d ago ... Just last month I was talking about my paltry computer system and how it could use a new videocard. I was perfectly happy with the system and then a 2 weeks ago, BOOM!!! It dies on me (thankfully I didn't win the video card right?). No matter I have 3 laptops for computing and I don't need my system for gaming(3 Xbox 360s, 2 Ps3s, Wii, GameCube, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Sega Saturn and Dreamcast...Why My Computer Would Benefit From an SSD Upgrade
275d ago ... My computer and I go back a long way. It's lived in several countries and it's served as both a work machine and a gaming rig for over four years. I first built it way back in 2007 with an Intel BadAxe 2 mainboard (D975XBX2), an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 chipset and 4 gigs of RAM. It first sported an nVidia 8800GT, and I upgraded it late last year with an ATI 5850HD. It sits comfortably i...July Contest Details

387d ago ... Hey guys, just making this post to help you guys clarify what is considered as acceptable content and what won't make the cut. Over the past few days, there has been quite a variety of content making it to the Pending Section, but a lot of it just couldn't make the cut, due to it not falling in line with what we focus on at TechSpy. If you remembered a while ago, N4G relaunched their websit...GDC: Ear Force PX5 from Turtle Beach
440d ago ... It's the early hours of GDC, Friday morning, and while most conference attendees are staring glassy-eyed into the tops of their Starbucks to-go cups, I'm entirely too keen to be out of bed and trying out the latest from Turtle Beach - the PX5. Of course, they did promise that the second half of the demo could be nap time. The wireless PX5 uses Bluetooth to pair with up to two devices simulta...March Contest Details

568d ago ... To most people, the sudden industry interest in 3D technology is considered a fad. It's an eccentric marketing ploy for the fringe enthusiast, merely feeding a niche market. It's too expensive, or it's too immature, or it's too proprietary. If this has you believing the skeptics and naysayers, then 3D technology is already doomed to fail. Fortunately for entertainment enthusiasts there's a diff...Welcome to TechSpy!
