Sounds environmentally safe.

What purpose does that serve worth spending MORE money on road construction for? Walking paths make some sense, but I don't see the point for roads.

You think streets are part of the natural environment?

Seems useless either way.

"You think streets are part of the natural environment?"

Do you think that justifies having ANOTHER environmentally unfriendly element ADDED? Roads are a necessity, a spray that makes it glow is not.

FamilyGuy3814d ago (Edited 3814d ago )

Man had survived a pretty long time before paved roads were ever created so I don't see the "necessity" you're claiming.
Both are related to human convenience.

Not that I'm for glowing sidewalks anyway.

DeadlyFire3814d ago (Edited 3814d ago )

Could be useful in fully wet roads on dark nights where the elderly can't see the lines on the road. Unless you just want to have a glowy road.

SilentNegotiator3814d ago

If your sight is so bad, you have trouble seeing the lines, it's time to give up driving anyway.

Speed-Racer3814d ago

@Silent - I can attest to the fact that driving during on the night on a wet road is extremely difficult because headlights become somewhat useless due to the poor reflective surface, and my vision is not bad.

Panthers3814d ago

When its a newly paved road, and its raining, it can be VERY hard to the road.

This seems like a cool idea, but not necessary. Just drive slower if you are having trouble seeing.

zerocrossing3814d ago

I'm with you when it comes to environmentally unfriendly elements, but anything that can help keep idiots on the damn road's gotta be a plus.

CanadianTurtle3814d ago

Leave the environment alone. No one even asked for this.

DanielForth3814d ago

this could potentially make nighttime driving safer

Are_The_MaDNess3814d ago

well, it could make anything on the road safer. may it be a car, a bike or just your feet.
