Destination China - World's Fastest Supercomputer Revealed

ThatNaijaBlog - A Chinese supercomputer, Tianhe-2 which was released 2-years ahead of schedule has become the world’s fastest supercomputer. Tianhe-2 otherwise known as Milky Way-2 in English will be distributed to the National Supercomputer Center in uangzho, China in the 4th quarter of 2013.

lol thats pretty cool. Id love to see the build of it and the department of energy is salty now.

this is only temporary because America will strike back. it seems the Chinese made interconnect system and their custom work made this possible. if the workers that made this were treated like the people that train for the Chinese Olympics Teams I feel bad for em.

The US still does better because it seems like no other countries care about energy efficiency. That is essential.

I doubt its the most super computer. Most computers on the US side are considered classified data, you'd be a fool to think there isnt a more powerful one, especially given all the NSA datahandling that must go through.. just thinking about making it feasible is such a load balance issue. And since its a "non-existent" program it must be down all in house.
