I plan on buying one in the coming months (just waiting to see what iOS 7 has to offer) and I will definitely be going with the Exynos 5 Octa Core version. I am not a big user of mobile data and therefore 4G LTE is of no use to me.

Hi Madusha, don't you have something like an UnliData plan in your country, where you get unlimited mobile data connection?

Madusha4001d ago

Nope. Here in New Zealand no unlimited mobile data plans exist. We are way behind when it comes to mobile data. I currently get 250mb per month and plans over 500mb have ridiculous costs. Also LTE is at the moment only available in some parts of the country.

I see, that's to bad. We have unlimited data plan here in our country. The best we could get around 3-4Mbps download speed (or 1MBps DL speed). So if ever need to download a large file like more than 1GB, I use my phone and tether the connection to my PC.
I think we also have unli data plan for LTE but LTE is just expensive right now.

shame I have no choice

but livin that lte life will make up for the missed bench mark scores.

tho "If you want to brag that you have an “eight-core” powered smartphone" is more up my alley. slapping people left and right yelling 8 cores bitches guess I have to wait a while for that.

octo version uses wolfson audio vs the snapdragron crap in the 600 one.

whatswithjeff4001d ago

Is the audio quality noticeable or is there a big difference or slightly only?

raytraceme4001d ago

To my ears I can easily hear the difference. The snapdragon's audio sounds a lot more digital and fake while the wolfson chip makes the sound have weight and oomph. Plus with hardware eq you can use the equalizer without distorting the sound.
