What is there to be worried about? If you don't like the social aspects then don't use them. Privacy isn't a concern either, if you don't want to use your real name then don't.

Nobody is forcing anyone to use those features, they are an optional extra for people who are into that.

Agreed! Everyone is always talking about privacy and social media features. Solution is simple: DON'T USE THE FEATURES AND BE A LONER! I like the new layout. It looks way better than the beyond-tired and generic XMB. And finally, I like to finally be able to use my own pictures for my profile instead of some stupid character or shape.

Its sony. not all games will support features like watching your friends. even if they did you would have settings to turn it on and off as you wish.

little things like privacy settings will be taken care of so dont sweat it
