I really like that controller design. It could use some more tweaking with the handles & shoulder buttons though.

I never bought a Sony or Xbox console at launch. I usually wait a year for those then grab them up. I always especially like Sony's slim resdesigns.

Although i'm seriously considering getting the PS4 depending on the tech and games at launch.

Dropped $500 on the MGS4 bundle. Haven't regretted it.

Pretty sure it will cost 399 and 450 for basic and premium models, hardware wise its not so next gen this time.

I could care less if it was £500 (thats roughly $770) What i find very interesting regarding this console over pricing issue is that nobody seem to comment on mobile phone products which reach into the excess of $999 *cough-IPhone, lets not forget the life span of these devices which mainly range from 2-3 years. How about TV's, Laptop replacements? etc...consoles primarily have a life span of 5-10 years with countless hours of use and wonderful online and offline experiences. Not sure about you guys but i don't lose sleep over making an investment that is of extreme benefits to me, and i'm broke.
