February Contest Details

Here in the month of February we are going to get back to the heart of the community with Quality, News, Comments and feedback from our members themselves.

The State of the Community Blog Contest isn't going to have a mandatory length or direction, but we would like to hear exactly what some of the problems you see are and also what you really enjoy within the community. Based on the feedback we receive in our PM boxes I don't feel this will be a problem for most of you guys...but in the past Blog contests have fallen flat for some reason so I really want to encourage you guys to leave a blog post for this contest.

--STORY OF THE MONTH AWARD--

Find the most interesting, breaking or well written piece in internet history and if the staff chooses it as the best submission of the month you will win a $50 Amazon GiftCard. So take your time read through some news and when you find an impressively well written article or amazing news piece, and submit it here at TechSpy.

There will be (2) prizes up for grabs in this category so two contributors will win the Story of the Month Award. Only one win per person though.

--COMMENT OF THE MONTH AWARD--

Be the wittiest, most intelligent and overall best member to drop a line on a story this month and you will walk away with a $50 Amazon GiftCard. Overall monthly activity will be considered while reviewing comments so the more active you are throughout the month, the more likely you will be noticed for the Prize.

This Contest has (2) prizes as well. So workout the fingers on the QWERTY and drop one of the two best comments to win a prize this month. One win per person also.

--STATE OF THE COMMUNITY BLOG CONTEST--

This is a new addition this month. This is going to be a simple contest, submit a blog post about anything you would like to see implemented here at the site. This can be anything at all, Contest's you would like to see, If you would like to see more staff involvement, less staff involvement. Or even just yelling at me to get the monthly contest blog post up in time instead of 4 days into the month (Sorry). Everyone has a unique experience here at TechSpy so I would like to hear from the community itself about improvements and suggestions to enhance the experience for our entire community.

At the end of the month the staff will look and pick out the (2) members who have been most helpful in their blog suggesting improvements for the community will walk away with $50 prizes.

--HOTTEST STORY CONTEST--

Submit the overall hottest story of the month and you will win a $50 GiftCard.

Some Terms and Conditions:

1. Competition is open to all TechSpy users, except for employees of HAVAmedia and immediate relatives. Contests are not limited to the US/NA.
2. Closing date is 11:59 PM EST February 28th, 2013.
3. In the event of unforeseen circumstances TechSpy/HAVAmedia reserves the right to substitute the prizes for alternatives of equal or greater value.
4. Prizes are not transferable.
5. The winners of the competition will be notified Via PM on or before March 7, 2013.
6. Failure to reply to ticket/PM notification within seven (7) days results in forfeiture of prize.
