I have the S2 and I've been waiting for Jelly Bean for too long! Samsung need to remember to keep existing customers happy rather than just concentrate on getting new ones!!!

That's one good thing about Apple. Even the 3GS (and it was 3 phones ago) got the iOS 6 update. Samsung needs to allow their older phones to update to newer OS's just like their new devices.

It's a bit of a better of two evils situation, sometimes the updates will run garbage on old hardware or drain battery massively. I know lot of people who updated their old iDevices with new iOS versions and instantly regretted the decision.

I'd be happy if manufacturers just release a press release saying why they are not realising the update, rather than cause such anticipation by promising the update

Although the 3GS and IP4 cannot handle siri or navigation. So yea you may get the IOS 6 update but you do not get all the benefits of it. So Apple still leaving you behind saying you better update to IP5 if you want full features.
