Samsung plans no settlement with Apple: executive

AFP: A top Samsung executive said that the South Korean electronics giant had no plans to follow Taiwanese firm HTC in seeking a settlement over its patent disputes with arch-rival Apple.

there are a lot of ridiculous patent out there, Apple is not alone. slide to unlock is design issue, with the company like Samsung (huge budget) couldn't figure out how to overcome that, and fanboys are complaining about dead of innovation? RIMM is actually spent money in RD, unlike Samsung cloning products like their competitors...
