The Verge - Sony NEX-6 review

The Verge - I still use a DSLR. Unlike my colleague Dan Seifert (and a handful of other staffers at The Verge), I've never been willing to sacrifice the speed and control of my Nikon D7000 to get a smaller, lighter camera. It's really not an image quality issue — Sony's NEX lineup typically takes excellent pictures, as do a number of Micro Four Thirds cameras. I carry the back-breakingly enormous D7000 around because it's so incredibly easy to control thanks to myriad buttons, dials, and wheels.

Engadget - Sony NEX-6 review

Engadget - Sony had a lot to show off just before we hopped aboard a flight to Photokina. The A99 was a lightweight bargain of a full-frame DSLR, the Cyber-shot RX1 was the most powerful compact we'd ever seen and the 16.1-megapixel NEX-6 was one of the finest mirrorless models of the year -- in other words, this is a camera manufacturer that's doing it right, with a wide range of high-end products that would make any tech giant proud.
