About time, I just hope Sony doesn't fall victim to their own pricing again.

If it's true that Sony will release a phone to compete with the iPhone 5 and S3?
It means Xperia S, SL, T/TX/TL, Acro S, V are NOT capable of compete with these phones but yet are sold at the same price or higher than those phones?

Speaking from an unlocked perspective, they range in the $380 category while iPhones and the Galaxy line can run from $450 to 600 depending where you buy it from.

I really doubt many people buy these kinds of phones without renewing a contract.

Hence, this price isn't really accurate. The Samsumg Galaxy goes for $200-$250 with the bigger hard drive and the most pricey line is the Galaxy Note 2 at $300.

What's the pricing like for the Xperia models? I'm dead certain it's much cheaper as well versus an S3 or iPhone 5.

I don't have a price average, which is weird, since it'd take me about 5 seconds to google, but it seems to me that Xperia T, at least at release was not considerably cheaper than Galaxy 3. iPhone 5 seems more expensive again. But I don't know.

Good, and while you are at it make an Xperia Play 2 in about a year :P Thats when my upgrade comes and I don't want to lose my controller :D

If not, then fine Ill go with a different xperia phone.
