Google Cast devices, like the Chromecast and Google Home cause temporarily Wifi dropouts for users around the world. The issue has been confirmed for routers from Asus, Linksys, Netgear, TP-Link or Synology. In some cases the router is totally inaccessible for a while, other users report the router only disconnects from the internet. TP-Link and Linksys have confirmed the issue.
This is getting old now, but every time I see it, I think the same thing. Why would Linksys or other router makers have to do anything about this? It's clearly a Google Cast infraction. They need to fix their intrusive garbage.

Sony already do this with their Bravia range as well as via HDMI
i just dont see a real need for this. if you have a TV and the only means of watching/streaming something is to do this with a phone then maybe you shouldnt really have a TV.
