A subscription for the next Xbox is a terrible idea, imagine having to pay that and then having to pay for Xbox Live.

So, an internet require subscription based Xbox? No...no thank you.
if the next box is 500 that means its actually $560 because of xbox live.
the 300 dollar model with subscription is probably the same type you get when you get that new iphone at the lower price but end up paying 70 dollars a month for the service and probably on a 3g network. also you gonna have to pay for live as well. who knows like could become a monthly payment incorparated into your subscription.
