AMD Announces FirePro S10000 Professional Graphics Card

I would never buy an AMD again after the travesty of the 7000 series, had to have two replaced because of major crashing and eventually a Geforce GTX 670 fixed it :)

I like competition as much as the next guy but it seems AMD are a joke in reliability and with patching (also my 8120 couldn't run wow for shit).

My dual 7770 setup (both XFX AMDs) has been treating me fine. The only issue I EVER ran into was the travesty of Catalyst 12.8 - there was an annoying memory issue with this version and Firefox and crossfire being enabled.

I used to be hardcore Nvidia, but AMD has caught up feature-wise and AMD cards tend to run a bit cooler for the same performance. Ultimately my break from Nvidia was when they released their 8000 and 9000 series GeForce cards that ran absurdly hot - hell there was a lawsuit over the issue - never trusted Nvidia since.

I meant 8000 series not 7000 series...I used to be the same, I was put off Nvidia cos of a couple bad cards but I was so let down by my 8120 that I mentioned was replaced twice but still had major issues, it crashed repeatedly and also ran games very very badly, it would take alot to make me go back after that tbh.

(Also my GTX670 runs games much better and much quieter).
