This, after all, is Microsoft's big chance to show what they've been working on and unveiling bit by bit for the past year; a chance to evaluate the sum total of changes and advancements baked into the next-generation operating system. Everyone I know that's tried Windows 8 thinks Metro is terrible and we need an option to remove it.
Its intended for Tablets and Phones, PC users want the proper desktop which is far more efficient and clean
I haven't tried the latest build but I did try the developers months ago and found it horrid.
If there is no justified reason to upgrade to Windows 8 then its just a re-skinned Windows 7 that supports Tabs and Phones.
