Things have been slowing down a bit, so here's a friendly reminder to start managing again. This doesn't mean you should go out on a mass approving spree.
Always check your stories before approving. You'd be checking for things like duplicate stories, the story's age, whether the link works at all, and the story quality (e.g. bad english, too short to be considered an article, etc.) Approving a story with a blatant error such as a submission over a year old, or any other obvious problem could led to a temporary ban, so take the time.
I know a lot of you guys are either trying to win the contest or promote your sites, and all that is good and well in my books, but when things get slow, I only give favour to those who give back to the community. So if you think you're going to promote without giving a helping hand to manage other stories, I'll simply leave them to expire (2 days). I'm not obligated to approve any stories but I always lend a helping hand to those who show some interest.

Sorry Racer I have been busy as heck the last 2 weeks with school and haven't had much time, but I will be on more in the next few days to lend a hand!
too busy really. a good weekend maybe.
Same here. Been busy since my business is entering the busy time of year. Not to much time for misc stuff I usually do in the winter months...
Its a mutual effort . So keep Approving The Quality Content. All The Best !
So I've been trying to approve some stories but it takes anywhere from 10-30 seconds for the approval button to register my "hit". It's pretty annoying and discourages me from approving. This is on multiple computers btw
