Well I heard that news a few days back too. But never saw any warning yet. It will definitely help people to stay safe from the malware.

Nice! I hate sites that has more than one download button.

Also hiding the actual close button ( in grey usually ) just a few millimeters next to the deceptive download button ( in black )..

Yes i too face these problems on the music downloading sites. I totally get confused which button to click on. Sometimes when i click on any wrong download button something wrong started downloading and that was a malware. This is what google is doing right.

I see you download music illegally.

EXTREMETECH2983d ago

Yes i use the music apps that are saavn and hungama but they are very costly. I use them very even. In india this is widely done to download musics.

Speed-Racer2983d ago

Doesn't mean it's legal either way lol. *calls the cops*

EXTREMETECH2983d ago

You want me to be in the jail for just downloading the music illegaly.

Thank goodness for that, I'm sure everyone has come a cropper at some point on a false button, or a disguised advert. Anything that helps remove that threat (or more specifically the consequences of doing so) can only be a good thing. That being said I'm still seeing plenty about so there's still lots to work to do.
