Intel generated a storm of interest when it launched the HDMI-based Compute Stick, but is anybody willing to buy a tiny, under-powered PC? Who knows, but ASUS has just launched its own model that trumps Intel's in nearly every way. It's a lot less clunky-looking and one-ups Intel's Atom CPU with a Cherry Trail model, while adding an extra USB 3.0 port and headphone jack for good measure. Otherwise, it has the same 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage, and works in the same way: you plug it into any HDMI TV, add a keyboard and mouse, then compute away on Windows 10.
The ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX is on the way - a brand-new 8K monitor designed for professionals, including DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity.
This one overclocks to a 160Hz refresh rate.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603H is truly a beast of a machine when it comes to performing under heavy loads. While there is still room for improvement on the graphics side, 1080p gaming on Ultra High settings above 60FPS is great by any means. You’re not always able to make the most of its 165Hz panel, but it’s still great to have. The only downside to the newly-introduced Intel Core i9 CPU is that there is quite a steep jump over previous Zephyrus gaming laptops.
