Nvidia's GeForce GTX 780, is a really successful GPU from the market leading company, Nvidia. This GPU is in the market for almost 1 year now. Also, as time passed, Nvidia also released its GTX 780Ti which have better performance than the 780 due to its increased shader count, but the 780Ti is also very expensive.

Nvidia made the GeForce GTX 780 out of the GK110 by enabling 12 out of 15 streaming multiprocessors on the die. The GTX 780 have 2,304 CUDA Cores. The texture mapping unit count is 192, a 50% increase as compared to its predecessor. The bus width of this card is 384-bit. This GPU packs 5 graphics processing clusters and it also have 48 ROPs, which is also 50% increase as compared to its predecessor. The GPU, which we will review today, have 6GBs of GDDR5 Memory.
